¤ Day 0

Lake Geneva | 0 kms | Geneva

Our advice for a good start : arrive the day before the start as the days of the trip are full riding days. We will welcome you by the shores of lake Leman and it will be the opportunity to put your hands on the motorcycle and talk about the trip.

 

¤ Jour 1

Cap sur la Savoie et ses paysages de montagne | Genève - Savoie | 195 kms

En route ce matin pour votre première journée qui vous fera quitter les rives paisibles du Léman pour vous élever rapidement aux pieds du Mont Blanc.  Dernier point de vue sur le lac et vous vous engouffré déjà dans les Gorges de la Dranse. Premiers col, premiers lacets parfait pour se mettre dans le rythme. Au cœur des Aravis, vous avez accès à un formidable balcon naturel sur la chaîne du Massif du Mont-Blanc. Votre journée moto sera ponctuée de 7 cols notables des Alpes. Chacun est unique et possède un environnement préservé. De saisissantes vues depuis les lacs d’altitudes vous inviteront à des pauses plaisantes. Un passage à 1968m sera votre point culminant de la journée.

Vous arriverez en fin de journée au cœur de la Savoie où les spécialités gustatives permettent de reprendre de l’énergie…

¤ Day  1

Heading Savoie and its mountain landscapes | Geneva - Savoie | 195 kms

Take off this morning for your first day, from the peaceful shores of the lake Leman to the Mont Blanc. Last view over Lake Geneva and you are riding the first curves in the Dranse valley. First pass and hairpin turns to get into the rhythm. In the heart of the Aravis, you access a natural balcony over the Mont Blanc massif. 7 passes will be part of this day, each of them unique in a preserved environment. This first riding day will culminate at 1968 m.

You arrive in Savoie, and for sure local specialties will enable you to back up some energy.  

  

¤ Day  2

From the Tarentaise valley to the Ecrins Massif | Savoie - Hautes-Alpes | 230 kms

First morning in the heart of the Alps. If you are early enough, the first lights over the mountains are stunning.

A few kilometers warm up before you discover one of the largest water reserve in the Alps. This is the only possibility to access the highest pass of the day at 2765 m after a 20 km climb. Between the Massif de la Tarentaise and the Vallée de la Maurienne, the road to get there is enchanting. This is one of the most beautiful places in the Alps, but more importantly the highest. Follow up with historical passes higher than 2000 m, most of them famous thanks to the tour de France. In the heart of the Alps and Hautes-Alpes, the roads is spectacular. The arrival at the end of the day will follow the Massif des Ecrins to your rest for the evening.

 

¤ Day 3

From the Hautes-Alpes to the Mediterranean's foothills | Hautes-Alpes - vallée de l'Ubaye | 190 kms

Load up some energy with your breakfast, and let’s start for the first pass that is more than 2300 m high. The area will then be dryer and rocky, through the Parc Naturel du Queyras, as premises to the mediterrannean climate. You are riding deeper in the Alpes de Haute Provence. Still beautiful roads to ride to discover the beautiful Ubaye vallée in a green and blue background. Surprisingly, it can remind you some places in latin America. Here you leave the Route des Grandes Alpes for other beautiful landscapes and more remote places,  still stunning motorcycle roads.

 

¤ Day 4

The Mercantour Parc as a playground | Ubaye - Mediterranee | 260 kms

Croissants and homemade jam for your breakfast before you go on your motorcycle trip through the vast Parc National du Mercantour. Landscape and vegetation with beautiful contrasts, this area extends from high alpine peaks to the Mediterranean sea. 

After a ride on the Europe’s highest road at more than 2800 m, you will follow the turns until you feel the first smells of the sea. Before that, you will have to cross several passes at more than 1700m before you dive in the azure blue of the sea. This will be the most meridional part of your motorcycle trip in the Alps. You spend a pleasant evening close to the sea.

 

¤ Day 5

The french Colorado | Haute Provence - Verdon | 250 kms

Reds rocks over your helmet, rugged landforms, steep ravines and sometimes smooth and soothing nature, the scenery of your motorcycle trip will be very variable. This is a total change for today’s ride, it will make you doubt the real place of your motorcycle trip. The mineral prevails over the flora and at certain times, or the opposite. The color panel will be quite magical. A passage in altitude to take a little air, before heading overhanging a canyon of clear rocks at the bottom of which flows a turquoise water.

 

¤ Day 6

the Route Napoleon in early stages to the Alps |  Verdon - Alpes | 250 kms

We are now heading north, leaving behind us the temperate meridional climate. You start your trip taking the famous route Napoleon, taken in 1815 by the emperor. A detour to ride along a beautiful alpine lake and beautiful landscapes will make the variations along this route. Passes are increasingly higher, and cows are increasingly present along the way to high mountains. Enjoyable evening at more 1800m altitude.

¤ Day 7

Between the Massif of the Vanoise and Mont-Blanc valley | Isère  - Chamonix Valley | 215 kms

With the Rousses glacier a few meters above, your days starts in a lovely mountain atmosphere. The consequence is a few laces right after your start, be careful. Half a day left to enjoy the Massif de la Vanoise that offers a few climbs of passes and several green pastures. From one side or the other of the valley, uphill and downhill roads will take you to more than 2000 m altitude. Depending on their exposure, each part of the valley offer singular environment. Then increasingly the white summit of the Mont-Blanc appear. Beautiful curves, gorges and valleys of Chamonix dotted with so characteristic villages will bring you to this giant of 4810m.It's already the last evening of your alpine motorcycle trip, however we have a great discovery for you for the next day.

 

¤ Day 8

The Giant of the Alps | Chamonix valley - Geneva |130 kms

Before setting off for your final ride, you will rise this morning to go and contemplate an exceptional place, listed among the most beautiful sites in the world. Leave your motorbike for a few hours to get on a cable car towards the Aiguille du Midi at 3840m. A grandiose panorama awaits you, as close as possible to the summit of Mont-Blanc. A panoramic terrace with breathtaking views of the whole of the French, Swiss and Italian Alps will be your highlight of your motorcycle trip in the Alps. Enter this glass cube suspended from the cliff, with more than 1000m of space under your feet a feeling of vertigo will surely invade you. Return to a common altitude, you will resume your motorcycles for your afternoon in the direction of Geneva. Here are the last passes in mountain landscapes. The upper plateaus of Lake Geneva will gently bring you back to reality.

Booking advices: 

In the summer season, an earlier booking is recommended to ensure the availability of the accommodations and motorcycles.

At the latest 90 days before departure. The reservation is effective after acceptance of the general sales conditions and a deposit of 45%. The journey must be paid 60 days before departure.
