Departure to St Jeoire towards Mégevette and Brevon valley.
Arriving near Thonon-les-Bains (and its famous Thonon mineral water), we take the direction of Morzine via Aulps valley gorges on a road particularly popular for bikers (less crowded on weekdays and off season).
We go further in the valley to Montriond lake, and come back through Morzine.
We go back to Saint-Jean-d'Aulps, then turn right to go across Corbier pass.
Arrived on the D22 we take the direction of Chatel. You can have a break in Abondance, before continuing to Chatel and Morgins pass. (Warning, make sure that you have the documents needed to enter Switzerland).
Let's go to St Gingolph by the shores of Leman lake (one of the largest lakes in Western Europe). Enjoy the view going up to Bernex. It goes through Chevenoz, crosses the valley to go across Forclaz pass making a detour down a beautiful place: Tréchauffé alpine chalets. Take time to enjoy a drink and a blueberry pie at the bar / restaurant "Le Chamois" (open from late May to late October, tel: 04.50.72.14.48).
Go doing the valley towards Thonon-les-Bains seaport, for a nice ride and eventually a new stop.
From Thonon, the road back begins towards the Green Valley and Cou pass.
It then goes down through Boëge and Annemasse direction.
