We leave Annemasse to climb directly on Salève mountain with 860 view on Geneva lake and the alpes (beautiful Mont Blanc view).

We take Bourget lake direction, through very minor roads and Fier gorges.

We run along Bourget lake on its west shore.

Feel free to take a detour for Hautecombe Abbey (2021 visit price, € 4,50 per adult), whose history begins in the 12th century.

Shortly before arriving at Chambery, the route goes on the Mont du Chat to join Aiguebelette lake.

We run along the lake on the east side, before going down south to Les Echelles.

We go back near Chambery after passing the Col du Granier and Fosse pass.

We arrive at St Jorioz after Plainpalais pass and Leschaux pass.

You will be welcomed by Gilles at "Les Tilleuls" hotel (info reservations http://www.lestilleuls.com/) located a few kilometers from Annecy.

Take the opportunity to explore the city!

We leave the hotel along Annecy lake to the south.

We cross Forclaz de Queige pass to go to Hauteluce.

We cross Saisies pass to go down to Notre-Dame de Bellecombe, St Gervais and Chamonix.

We cross Montets pass and Forclaz pass before going down to Martigny.

Let's go to Monthey, we can take Swiss highway to go faster (beware sticker required).

Now you go up towards Morgins pass, Chatel and back down through Abondance valley.
