Three days of motorcycle in the Haute-Savoie and Savoie !

You pick-up the rented motorcycle close to Annemasse railway station, then direction to Yvoire, a fortified medieval village. You can leave your helmet and suit in the tourist office for a more enjoyable walk. You then pass through Thonon-les-Bains and the Port of Rives, then by Evian. Then we climb towards Châtel by the Abondance valley and plateau du gavot. It is possible to visit the Abbaye d'Abondance (information from the tourist office: +33 (0) 4 50 73 02 90) We continue the road to Switzerland, through the Pas de Morgins. Around Martigny, we moved to France via the Col de la Forclaz, then towards Chamonix. We pass St Gervais and Megeve, then the Col des Aravis, before joining the Gîte Les Mésanges in Thônes, capital of reblochon (info and reservations: +33 4 50 02 01 00)
We start from Thônes to the south, then toward Beaufort. We pass the lake created by the dam Roselend, and the cone Roselend (1967 m). It goes well in the natural park of Vanoise. We leave Bourg-St-Maurice to our right and continue towards the Barrage de Tignes and Val d'Isère, before climbing the Col de l'Iseran (2764 m). It then descends towards Modane and Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, before taking the direction of the Col de la Madeleine.
We cross the pass and after the descent we head towards Moutiers for the night.

We cross the Col de la Madeleine, then descend in the direction of Albertville. We continue to Chambéry and we turn right in the Bauges and towards Mont Revard. We descend in Aix-les-Bains and Lac du Bourget, we go along its west side.
We continue north to Frangy, then we climb on the Salève, from where you dominate Geneva and Lake Léman, before returning to Annemasse.
