Day 1 :
 

We start to reach the start of the Route Napoleon around Bourgoin-Jallieu.

To do this, we leave Annemasse along the Salève on the south to join Cruseilles and Annecy.

You then reach the Lake of Bourget, which bypasses the north. Then there is the Tour du Pin, and Bourgoin-Jallieu and the start of the Route Napoleon.

We start it and go towards the south to Grenoble.

Day 2 :
 

The road continues to Gap and Sisteron.

We start from the east shortly after Château-Arnoux-St-Auban towards Digne-les-Bains, before continuing south towards Castellane. The road in great condition continues with quick curves until around Grasse.

It joins the Mediterranean Sea in Antibes for the stop, located 150 m from the beach.

Day 3 :

We follow the coast to Menton and then join the Route des Grandes Alpes.

Close to the edge of Nice and the Promenade des Anglais, then we take a step back to admire the landscape around St Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Cap d'Ail and Monaco.

Arrived in Menton, we start to the north and Sospel.

We then climb the Col de Turini, where passing the legendary Monte Carlo Rally.

A St-Martin-Vésubie the road goes to the west, and crosses several passes: Col St Martin (1503 m), Col de la Couillole (1678 m).

After Guillaumes, you go up north in the Mercantour National Park to Barcelonette, passing by the Col de la Cayolle (2326 m).

Day 4 : 

 
We leave Barcelonnette towards Jausiers, then begin the climb of the Col de Vars (2109 m).

It then descends to Guillestre before entering the Combe du Queyras.

We climb on the pass of Izoard before joining Briançon.

Valley Guisane allows us to reach the Col du Galibier, to descend into the Maurienne valley.

We continue up the valley to Bonneval sur Arc to join the Iseran pass (2764 m).

Day 5 :


We leave Tignes to Bourg-St-Maurice, to then take the direction of Cormet de Roseland (1983 m), Beaufort.

We pass the Col des Saisies (1650 m) to cross the Gorges de l'Arly and join the Col des Aravis (1486 m).

After La Clusaz we take the direction of the Col de la Colombiere. It crosses the Arve to Cluses, to reach Les Gets through Taninges. It then descends through the valley of Aulps to the edge of Lake Geneva at Thonon-les-Bains. The Route des Grandes Alpes is over! We return to Annemasse by Bons-en-Chablais.
