Leaving Annemasse towards La Clusaz.
It takes the gorges of the Arly to reach Beaufort and the Cornet de Roselend.
It runs along the Isère to Moutiers, then continue on the N90 on a few km, then turn left towards Bonneval.
We are at the foot of the chain of Lauzière, towards the Col de la Madeleine (1993 m), that we cross to get to St-Jean-de-Maurienne.
We take the direction of St-Michel de Maurienne and Valloire.
We stop after a few KM to the hotel Relais du Galibier. Information and reservations http://www.relais-galibier.com

We pass the Col du Galibier (2646 m), back down towards the Alpe-d'Huez.
In Bourg d'Oisans is continued on the Col d'Ornon (1367 m).
Turn away if you want to see the cascade of Confolens. Turn left once you arrive at "The Perier"
We pass the Col des Accarias (892 m), Col de la Croix Haute (1179 m), Grimone Pass (1318 m).
We will then towards Die, then further west to Crest, in finally Sibières Farm, very nice bed and breakfast . Information and reservations: www.lafermedessibieres.com/

You are in the Drome, enjoy this day to walk around.
The itinerary suggests visiting the following towns and villages:
The Poet-Laval, charming old village, Dieulefit for its main street, Nyons for olive oil.
A number of shops offer Montelimar nougat, that you should taste !
You can also enjoy the quiet of the farm Sibières and the hospitality of the caregivers.

Shorter variant: you can go directly from Annemasse to the west of Grenoble, Chambery and Annecy (257 km, 4:43)
We start from the east and it borders the forest of Marsanne on our right for about 50 km.
Just before the city of Die (famous for its sparkling wine, drink with moderation) it turns left towards the Col de Rousset (1254 m). We are entering the natural park of Vercors.
The descent to Villars the lens, and then borrows the Gorges de la Machine before arriving at Sassenage.
We cross Grenoble, then rises again through the regional park of Chartreuse.
We descend through Chambéry, then along the lake Bourget.
We return finally to Annemasse, by Frangy and St-Julien en Genevois.
